In an effort to help ND counties think about peers and relative performance I started an ongoing project on this topic. This is a first pass with some differing cluster sizes and a very basic amount of data. There will be modifications to come.
For the Sports Business Analytics class we are doing a little cluster analysis (okay a lot)on NHL hockey team salaries and points.
Some colleagues and I are projecting population in North Dakota and we tried to figure out ways to identify different subregions of the state using k-means cluster analysis on a few economic variables.
