The national debt is typically only a concern for the party out of power, if at all. In such a case it is a convenient foil to majority’s plan to increase spending or raise taxes.

I enjoyed watching this hearing on the national debt and the economy from the House Financial Services Committee and decided it would be a good thing to post.

A hopeful sign for the economy

There are not many pictures that represent a truly positive outlook for the economy, which is to be expected coming out of a major crisis event like we saw in the U.S. and much of the world. However, if we believe that adjustments were necessary to fix what was wrong, then here is a hopeful picture.
